I have worked in the Addictions Treatment field since 1987, in a variety of settings including: inpatient, outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, university and community mental health settings. Currently maintain a private practice in Bethlehem, PA and work as a per diem trainer for Rutgers University, training caseworkers from DCP &P (Division of Child Protection & Permanency) on Substance Use & Co-occurring Disorders, since 2015.
Previously worked for 7 years as a fulltime trainer for those pursuing certification and/or licensure as an addictions counselor in NJ.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Arts in Addiction Studies from Alvernia University (1992).
Graduated magna cum laude and received the Caron Foundation achievement award for the student who best exemplified the Addictions Study Program.
Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Kutztown University (1996).
CREDENTIALS:
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in both PA and NJ.
Master Addiction Counselor (MAC) national credential.
NJ Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC)
PA CAADC (Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor)
